Well I'm already past a year waiting on the Levi. What's another? :P

Even longer for the hybrid Rag, it seems frown.gif I'm sure it will be worth the wait though

What are the selling points of the Rag...and the Yggdrasil? Over the Gungnir for example?

Really wanted a yggdrasil but due to lack of info and the fact it isn't out yet, I bought a concero HD instead. O well. Maybe I will reconsider in a year or so when opinions on the new dac are solidified / hype has died down.

No offense, but they're not really in the same price bracket. One is double the price of the other. Haha. For Yggy kind of money you probably could have went with the Lynx Hilo (Head-Fi discount applied).

You have to use your Headphoneus Supremus discount card. Oh wait you're not one yet. (maybe I'm not suspposed to say this in public?)

I was wondering if there will be any disadvantages in using the XLR output and the single ended RCA outputs on the Yggdrasil at the same time. Just in case my amp won't have a parallel out.......

Seeing as how all three outputs on the Gungnir can be actively used simultaneously with no sound or stress issues, I'm betting the same will be true for the Ygg.

Will do at some point if I get it later on. Might instead get the Emo DC-1 for the time being, amazing functionality and sound seems decent as well based on the reviews. Plus then I'll be able to say I have an Emo stack:D

Also might then later on get Stealth 6/8.

seems Schiit designer is so much berried in Norse mythology books! Valhalla is well-known and easier to pronounce but some of their models are just concocted to crack user's jaws. I'm worry they'll some day be in shortage of more Norse myth figures!

I can't spell Yggdrasil

Keeping it in the Emotiva family sounds like a good plan. I hear that DAC is pretty good overall, especially for the price.

although... I can't help but recommending the Concero cuz it's just so damn awesome. haha.
