I'd like to see and hear these. Guess I'll have to get to show sometime.

Come on, you know we don't discuss possible future products--and why.

And, in any case, it's doubtful that Yggy's tech will be applicable at that price point.

Completely curious about that Ygg filter and sound. Was thinking of a trip to THE Show until I realized Newport CA not Newport RI. Oh well....

Are there any plans for a tube-based Ragnarok?

+1...

I know that I won't be in the market for these two for some time, but I would at least like a reference of where they fall in the Schiit family.

The price was already announced--$1499.

Yep, and that was wrong, too. Expect $1699. Sorry, it's a pricey piece.

I'm more excited about what the Ragnarok is at that price. Should be good. :)

Hmmm, 1499$ itself was a bit north for me....

Jason, any indication of the price for Yggy?

Ouch. A big price hike before it even gets released. The increased price also makes it more expensive to audition--if that's even possible anymore. I was definitely in at $1499, but I have to think about it at $1699. I wish I could audition the Rag with my LCD-X's and don't put much confidence in the insider softball reviews on the way.  :confused_face(1):

Aw c'mon, it's only $200. Hell, I spend that much at Starbucks in a month. tongue.gif

Ragnarok original price has risen but my hopes are still there: a heavenly sinergy with HD800. Then it will be mine. :)
