Hoping for the prior as I've been waiting for mine since April with all these darn delay. Hope it can somewhat stand up against the AKG K3003 in my case.

I'm not sure how you arrived at that conclusion given what I said but no, I'm not expecting to be underwhelmed. All this talk about how it may or may not be underwhelming merely has me interested to hear them even more than I was before, that's all.

That wouldn't be a very hard thing to do.

Well, I said you'll either be very impressed or even more disappointed given all the underwhelming opinions so far wink_face.gif

I agree that all this talk has got me hyped as well; I'll be hearing Munchzilla's soon.

What is it with the lack of reviews for these? Can't find a video review either. I really want to purchase these but just want a bit more info. I enjoyed the 400 but since I prefer to wear my cable down, I was really turned off by the cable noise and durability. C'mon you audio nerds! Get cracking with them reviews  tongue_smile.gif

Wait up a bit...  Reviewers are just starting to see these get to them.  Patience is a virtue my friend, the reviews will be coming in the coming couple/few weeks ;)

Yeah i currently have both the RE-400 and RE-600, but im holding off until i can properly give impressions of the RE-600. The equipment i'll be receiving in the next couple weeks are HifiMan HM-901 with balanced amp card.

I hope you also do a comparison between RE-400 and RE-600 from modest source.

Well, I have a Samsung GS4 (TriForce ROM 3.0 with ViPER sound mods) i can do, and an iPod via LoD to a C&C BH amp. Those would be the other options i have available as far as mobile sources go.

Bought amazons "last one." Couldn't wait and just had to splurge. I'm confident these will be the best if not on par with my fave iem (JVC HA-FX700). I just hope the cable noise is not as bothersome as it was on the 400.

Hmmm..........when worn over the ear, I don't find any cable noise whatsoever.

Yea my issue was wearing it cable down. I hear the RE-600 is better suited for wearing it that way.

Also got the RE-600 from Amazon USA.

I find that the RE600 fit in the ear better with the cable pointed up and in the end, I get better sound. I point them up and drape over the back of the ear. An excellent sounding IEM that competes well with the Jh13 Pro and come balanced!
