Fischer Amps: FA-4 E XB - Rhapsody series (3/4/5 drivers upcoming) - Page 52
Gear mentioned in this thread:
I actually like the FA-4E better. The FA-4E is more resolving, clearer, and just as spacious. The difference in soundstage could have the 334 resembling more of a 3D bubble type effect, and the FA-4E as a tad more linear... but equally as wide. To me, that slightly more holographic effect seems to be the only small advantage the 334 has over the FA-4E. Everything else is that small iota more enjoyable with the Fischer Amps... cleaner bass but with equal ultimate low extension (perhaps even a touch more sub-bass), midrange equally as resolved and transparent (maybe just a hair thinner feeling, but by no means recessed even when going back and forth between the two phones), and treble which is a marked improvement showing noticeably better extension and sparkle. Also, regarding the treble, since it has that smoother presentation it made me notice a lower treble bit of glare/bite on the 334. Overall, the FA-4E is a clearer window into musical enjoyment!
So there you have it, the reasons why I decided it was ok to sell the 334!
Well I did spend a lot of time A/Bing both closely to make sure of my decision to sell it.

Ummm, well I stopped listening to the MG6Pro a while ago, because the Fitear 334 was so much clearer and more spacious. That's like comparing the North Pole and South Pole they are so opposite. And the comparison would be the same with the FA-4E. It is not even worth listening to them back to back because the FA-4E is wonderfully balanced, smooth, detailed, and everything sounds as it should and lifelike. With the MG6Pro, the vocals are recessed, weirdly plasticky and nasally sounding, almost like they're in an echo chamber or something. The highs don't extend nearly as far, and sound sibilant all the while. The bass is of course seismic by comparison which is fun and enjoyable if your music demands that, but other than that, there is no reason to do comparison at all. I vividly can bring up that MG6Pro sound sig, and don't even need to listen to them back to back (nor do I want to-- as I couldn't be bothered to change over from the goodness of the FA-4E).
And also. Is someone able to send a pair to mr joker? Would really be awesome to get them up on that thread. And funny to know what he thinks.

Is this ear tip compatible with FA-4E XB?
Yes it is. I find the fit better, it's more secure, if I also take the sound tube from a comply tip (TS because it's shorter) but you can make the nozzle fatter with anything I think, tape or whatever. I just like the added diameter, it gives me a better seal and it's easier, I don't have to fiddle with it, just to put in and enjoy the sound of angels softly singing in your ears.
People I'm actually using this combo for the fa 4e lg optimus 2x + ibasso d4 high flight topkit + a very good lod. Sound is pretty good, but this combo is really heavy to carry in the pocket while I'm in home...so I'm considering something lighter but I'm also looking for good sq, my question is: do the fiio x3 or the ibasso dx 50 sound as good as a cellphone-ipod+good amp, do they sound better than my iphone 5? if not i could consider a lighter amp but I don't want to spend more than 250$

How's the build quality of these. It looks like an acrylic like most customs are made of so I assume it is good but just double checking. Well other than the logo falling off I haven't seen too much complaint but I haven't been following this thread too long
About sq in the first page you can find the links for every single review and comparation
