So my pair of these IEMs arrived today. I have to say I'm impressed so far. The fit is probably the best I've had from an IEM and my first impressions of the sound is that it is more or less what I was looking for. I must admit I'm not a fan of the included Comply tips. They are comfortable and I get a good seal, but I find they make the sound somewhat "muddy". I've found this with other IEMs as well. Does anyone have any recommendations for tips that won't muffle the vocals and make the sound dark?

Indeed welcome to the club. Its worth mentioning if deep insertion is an issue ortofon tips or tips to that nature seem to work well. Also to get them to really shine i recommend a good source JDS labs C5D :-)

Thanks, I actually have a wide selection of tips I'm going to experiment with (Ultimate Ears, MEElectronics, Monster).  I'm pretty set on getting Snugs custom ear tips though as I've heard really good things about them.

Etymotic ER-PT - Excellent isolation and generally liked the sound, but lacking in bass (and I'm not a big bass fan)

Shure SE425 - Didn't like the fit and there was something about the sound that didn't appeal to me

Westone 4Rs - Decent fit but sounded too veiled with some music and felt they were too expensive

Sony XBA-H3 - Nice detailed sound but terrible isolation and too large

Ultimate Ears 900 - Really nice fit and I liked the sound overall, but again there was something off about the bass

Does anyone know if there is a dealer in the USA ? At least a dealer accepting Paypal Fischer Amp site shows 1 distributor but they don't carry earphones only the amp. I contacted them and they said Ultimate Ears are the maker in the US which is bunk !!

If you don't find any try in thomann cyberstore, vat is discounted for non eu customers

Thomann will probably be my end source although they do not use Paypal . I had been leaning toward the Stagdiver 2 or 3 since ALO is a distributor but after watching this thread I'm now leaning toward FA-4 E XB most comments are positive my only concern is with the seal I will be active during use and a tight seal is monumental !

Yep these are that good but we don't care about hype, seal is so awesome with the fa 4e ask anybody around here to see most of us find them our best iem in that regard.

How will they pair with the VORGUZE DUO ? This should be German engineering at it finest !!

They are great coachhouse honestly I would also recommend the VORGUZE pure ii I have yet to try it but from what i hear will be an absolutely stunning combo! If anyone has it please post some impressions paired with the Fischers. It's also worth mentioning coachhouse the C5D is a beautful combonation that won't cost you the earth and is also ios 7 compatible.

It would be great if Fischer Amp and Vorguze teamed up with distribution the great folks at Vorguze were inquiring about a US distributor last year but I have yet to see it ARE U LISTENING MOON AUDIO :}  I have the Duo it is whisper quite plus has a bass and treble boost great for iem's build like a Panzer tank !
