Fischer Amps: FA-4 E XB - Rhapsody series (3/4/5 drivers upcoming) - Page 72

The Apex glacier is a nice match with a good soundstage and it gives some more definition and texture to especially the upper mids. However I feel it might be overpriced unless you can use it a lot or get it cheap.

Thanks guys I'll check it out I did find when plugging the amps into my asus laptop sound was a bit to sharp was concerned the glacier would do the same ?

I want my amps to sound as sharp/edgy as they can. Without being harsh or grainy. The glacier is only harsh with harsh music to my ears.

Cool if anyone has got one near leicester I'll try it out first my preferences actually lean toward a darker signature but I love treble that sparkles anyone used an amp that brings out the vocals a touch ??

Personally the JDS C5 will bring mids forward more. I'm regretting selling mine. I think that would be ideal. Really black and no hiss.

Did you get it direct from john?
Mine arrived in about 4 days, no issues. The C5 was awesome, may get another.

Nope unfortunately it was bought on the for sale/ trade forum i have the tracking number but usps delivery have been extremely useless in offing any support.

I picked up the custom tips today and I'm having trouble with getting them in and out of my ears. I guess it will take some time to get used to it.

Do they lose that sweet sweet snugness to the outer ear with the custom tips?
