Let's say that lot of people reported that. it happened to me in both sides i repaired them then a month later it happened again, imagine? Lol then i used glue instead of pay another 70 euros the shells are made of crappy plastic

Anyway ive heard that they changed a bit for good with their warranty service due the quantity of users like me, which is a good and a reasonable thing

Sorry for the offtopic let's back with the fa 4e again guys

Wow.. A few days ago I noticed that only one side had the logo. I thought, well maybe I was just not very observant when I first opened the box and took them out, it's probably the way it's supposed to be. Then today when I was polishing them for the little photo session prior to the review I'm about to write, the logo just went off. So... well. Now they don't have any logo. I would say that's pretty bad quality. Polishing them with a piece of cloth takes away the little sticker that says FA. Anyway, they look less tacky now but it shouldn't be that easy. Having some kind of paint, ok. Having a little plastic fake chromed sticker, not ok.

That happened to most of fa 4e veterans it's sticked with glue yes, if you look back in the thread we talked about it. the fa 3e xb dont't have logo though but build quality feels sturdy apart of this cosmetic issue

I liked the logo anyway, waiting for your review!

Haha so it seems. Thanks, the yellow "marks" are reflections of candles that I used in an attempt to bring som warmer light into the back.

I'm currently using T400 Comply Foam : very comfortable but tooooooooo smooooooooooooth for me :D for those who find the FA4 little aggressive (it does exist ^_^ ) that's one of the solution.

I answer you here Kurdt-bada : I known silicone earmolds, I'm not so interested for this solution with FA4, it's certainly the best for SQ (accuracy, soundstage), but I find that FA4 are too out of the ear with them. Or perhaps not, if you can take a picture it could confirm or deny what I mean.

In France earmolds cost ~100€, I would prefer to send the FA4 to CustomArt for reshell them in custom.

Ts-series are slightly less smooth. I didn't like the T-series. Prefer the Ts for a more open sound that's a bit more present.

Wouldn't that run the risk of altering the sound though?  As I understand it reshelling alone runs that risk, add the change from acryllic to silicone and it could be a very different (note not necessarily worse) signature.  Beside which I always had a problem with tips in that by the time you add the cost of the original piece, add the price of custom tips you could have had a very nice custom designed from the ground up.

To me reshell is a nosense if your iems work, you lose the warranty and imagine if the sound is not good.

As you can see they fit like a glove to me cutoms tips are the best improvement in iems, I've tried expensive aftermarket cables and custom tips still improve the sound more, silicone is very comfortable and isolation is dangerous

I preferred the comply foams included but custom tips take this detailed smoothness and add some clarity, bass impact, soundstage and sparkly treble, silicone tips had that sparkly treble and impactful bass but lacked clarity soundstage and sounded harsh and sibilant.

harsh and sibilant ? We don't have the same FA4 or you exaggerate a little.

As I can see the IEM go out of your ear as I thought.

Maybe a little but they don't sound good with silicone tips to my ears, the iems go out a bit but i have no problems with this on the other hand acs can make a special mold for the fa 4e which fit like a custom but this custom tips wont be compatible with any other iem

Silicone tips generally sound bad on all IEM. You would have to have a serious comfort dislike for triple-flange or comply to use them.

I patently disagree with this blanket statement.
