Ok, so I got a new pair of V-Moda M-80s and I listened to them on my i-Phone and MBP for a couple of nights, leaving them to burn-in... They sounded a little weak, so, long story short, I remembered that I had built a CHA-47 about 7-8 yrs ago.  I found it and a 12V wall wart and I hooked it up.  Holy $h*t...  I got goosebumps...  I went from ready to return the M-80s, to goosebumps in less than 5 min...

I figure this amp is dated, but I'd like to try and build something geared more toward these headphones, rather than the SR60s the -47 was built for...

Anyone have any suggestions?

The -47 I have has BB 2132s in it, which I could recycle, but I figure there are probably a better choices now days...
