I see people joke a lot about Crytek shooting for the "cinematic" 24FPS. tongue.gif

So there is a new MGS coming out. Gosh this and possibly a new Forza game could give me the reason to finally get the PS4.

MGS V looks very pretty.  I'm hoping for another Ace Combat.  biggrin.gif

And since when is Forza a Sony franchise...

What is it with Head-fi?

Half Life 3 is going to be released excl on PS 4

Forza is going to be released on PS 4

What´s next Super Mario Galaxy 3?

It's a simple mistake or just speculation, don't think too much into it.

No I ain't yet biggrin.gif

It's a speculation but I do wish Forza would someday come to the dark side on the Playstation platform, shameful MS pirates owning the franchise and all. I mean Gran Turismo is ok but the only good sim I liked on consoles was Forza.

Never liked sim racing. I'm all about Ridge Racer and Burnout....

The dumb drm is gone now at least though. Still, the ps4 is still is $100 cheaper, more powerful, and aiming to get more indie support.

It's also dumb to preorder either system right now, most of the really amazing next gen games are coming out 2014. A lot of things can go wrong during development and even games that are planning a holiday release could easily get pushed back to 2014. The only reason to get the console at launch is bragging rights not for the games.

God of war is also owned by sony completely like naughty dog so can never expect any of those games to go to any other platform.

Posted before official announcement afaik.

What makes you believe MS would have cheaper games thanks to DRM, though? I know a lot of people use Steam as an example as digital done right, and how MS could follow them, but Steam has competition. On Xbox One, there would be no competing marketplace.

Xbox One + DRM = DLC Free Gaming.  For people like me who like to play day one, I find it unfair to have to buy DLC.

50% more stream processors does not always equate to performance, though the raw computation performance of the PS4 should be greater (AMD vs AMD here).

Software has a big role as well, and clearly Microsoft has a healthy lead with PC arch based game development.  As OpenGL seems to be taboo with the gaming industry, idk where PS4 stands.

Believe me DRM won´t change anything in regard of DLC. As for DRM remember that neither PS 4 or Xbox One will be DRM free just requiring online checks.

Particularly since it´s the same chip more stream processors do equal more performance :). There is a reason why MS don´t feel confident to talk about their hardware instead try to mention the cloud here and there :)

And yet MS was happy to tout their "timed exclusive" DLC even before the U turn. This is one wishful thinking at best.

Nothing much was said about Grand Theft Auto V at E3.
