DIY...modify ViaBlue 3.5mm. jack for a small hole of the iPhone case.

Standard ViaBlue 3.5mm. jack can't insert through a small hole of the iPhone case.

 

Picture of the standard ViaBlue 3.5mm. jack....both small version and normal version(larger).

 

If you want to use the ViaBlue jack with it...please go with me.L3000.gif

In the small version.

Remove the inner jack from the body.

Remove the ring of the inner gold jack by a cutter.

Please cut it with gentle pressure...don't damage the inner gold jack.

 

 

Remove from the inner gold jack.

Compare the size.

 

The normal Oyaide jack...5.5 mm.

 

The Oyaide jack...Ultrasone version...5.7 mm.

 

The jack of the iPod/iPhone earbud...5.0 mm.

 

 

The inner gold jack of the small version...very very small...4.8 mm.o2smile.gif  o2smile.gif

Extend the inner ring with a round file.(only inner edge at the front)

Put the 3.5 gold jack in to the ring, then push to the back about 2 mm.

and twist the ring 180 degree...the bolt mark on the ring position at the ground.

 

Finished.wink_face.gif

 

With stadard Viablue and Oyaide.

Size of the internal 3.5mm. gold jack >>> approximate 5.8mm.

Use a round file to extend inner diameter of the ring.(only inner edge at the front)

Put the ring on the inner 3.5mm.gold jack.

 

 

and then twist 90 degree to get more area for locking with the bolt of the Viablue body.(in small version I twist 180 degree.)

 

 

Push to the posterior until look like in this picture.
