Good CIEM's for hard rock/metal?

What are good CIEM's for hard rock/metal music? I know most of it is engineered/mastered horribly, but I love these genres. I have owned the UM2, UM3, and currently own the UM3X and V-Moda M-100's. I like the UM3X's because of the non-fatiguing highs. All my music is 16/44.1 AIFF and I'm running it SE through a RSA Intruder/iPod classic and nano connected with RSA LOD to SE cable. (will soon get a nice balanced earphone cable). I just feel upgrading to another pair of universal iem's won't get me what I'm looking for. I listen to my music nice and loud, so they need to be tough.

Here are things I want:

1. Big soundstage
2. Non-fatuging highs
3. Deep, clean punchy kick drum bass, but not overpowering.

Not too much to ask for! I'd like to spend no more than $1,700 for these bad boys. I know opinions on these are subjective, but I would appreciate any input. Thanks!

Take a look at the UM Merlin, but they may be a bit outside your budget. Also look into the 1964 Quads for bass and 1964 V6 for a more neutral sound sig.
