The SRH840 is neutral. The V6 is on the warmer side of neutral and it has a nice, punchy bass.

I'm a light basshead, will they still have enough bass for me, either sub or midbass punch? Also, how do the mids and highs compare to those of the SRH840? Because the mids and highs of the 840 are quite similar to those of my K540's, so I will have an idea how they will sound. BTW, what does a ''warmer'' sound mean?

Alright, I raised my budget up to 160 euro's. I'm in no hurry buying a new headphone, so recommendations are welcome.

dt770 pro ? closed back, for home use, plenty of bass. but u will need an amp
