I have the LCD2.2F and the Mad Dog pro and I use them when I need the isolation too(they do seal out sound well). The Mad dogs are not as warm sounding or have the soundstage the LCD2 have but they are not far off, the bass is much better all around on the LCD2 but for 1/3 the price what do you want. They weigh about the same but the Mad dogs get hot after a hour or two, all in all I'm happy with them. The only other plannar I would look into is the PM-3 for what you want.

Hope this helps

Hi

I've been thinking of purchasing these headphones for some time now. Could anyone tell me if  the Mad Dog's are worth buying over an original Fostex t50rp. Are they worth the higher price?
