Just noticed the new site design, looks real nice MrSpeaker!

Can anyone comment on how the MDPROs match up against the more expensive TH600? I asked in the TH600 thread with no luck. Is it worth the $300+ more, I guess is what I'm wondering. I have a very soft spot for the old Denon line and I think the TH600 look great and heard even better things. But at $700... Can the $400 MDP compete? I've got plenty of power to support them.

Hi,

I would be interested
in the Mad Mad dogs or Mad Dogs Pro.
I use an AV Receiver Marantz SR-6005 and S2 DJ Controller Native Instruments.
I listen exclusively to the 90's EDM (Trance, techno, house ...), movies and video games.
I'm looking mainly comfort for very long winter and summer listening sessions.

I want a good insulation and a sound not aggressive.
I am very pleased with my Sennheiser HD598 (comfortable and good sound reproduction)

Could you advise me?

Ready to pay extra $300 for bad isolation and prominent bass?

I can give some feedback later on this week (coming from HD598 and should be receiving a pair of MDPs later today)

Can't wait to hear your feedback griz.  Do mention the bass response compared to the Q40 for a reference point please.

^I don't have q40's anymore so that would be tough. I shoulda kept em around but needed something I will do my best though

Just go off your ear muscle memory...............no, it's not foolproof but I want your opinion.  I had the 3.1's or 3.2's last year and just could not get the bass response to be enough.  That was when all I had was an E11 and ZO feeding them so not a good power source.

grizzlybeast, I noticed you compared the MD 3.2 to the MDP (a comparison many have been waiting on) and now you've deleted it. What gives?

^it wasnt really a comparison. I just said that I am not hearing big differences right away so I need more time with them. I also said that that in my experience with t50 mods the bass is very much amp dependent, even more so than the dynamic hp's that I have had here. That was in reference to a previous post about an e11.

fwiw I did briefly discern a little more tightness in the bass of the pro. The problem is that the MD is already really tight.

I honestly think I have too much on my plate right now. In my house I have 4 different t50rp modds and I am trying to hear differences in all of them.

grizzlybeast, you have 2 of the 3 modded T50's that I'm researching right now (the ZMF ZPEX & PROs). Anxiously awaiting your thoughts on the PRO's and if you feel like it, where the ZMF falls in with all your T50's.
