I sent a private note as well, but this is 3.2.

What is the minimum requirements would you say is needed to drive the MDs? Would the leckerton uha 6s be enough to drive them power wise? Is there a budget dac amp combo at least the e12's power? Thanks a lot.

Just ordered the Universal upgrade + tuneup for my MD 3.0s, but ran into a problem on payment processing. Sent you a PM Dan!

When I owned the MDs, I used a Leckerton to drive them. It's not the last word on absolute power, but it sounded better than the other portables I used to drive them, the O2 and Fiio E11 (or 10; can't remember). The Leckerton is a very good sounding amp. As far as portable amplifiers are concerned, I really can't recommend it enough, for any headphone you'd want to use in a portable setting.

I just got my Mad Dogs in the mail.  They're a very nice set of headphones!  They compare quite nicely to my HD 650's.  It still amazes me that these are a closed set of headphones.

MrSpeakers,

How is the move coming along?

How many of you did the Beyer/Senn headband "mod" by attaching the replacement headbands to the comfort strap of the Mad Dog? Is it very worth it?

Would love to try these one day. I hope to see if these will fill my bass needs.

The move went great, thanks for asking! Our new office is really well suited to our needs, and it's already sped up our production.

Fostex is making one according to your request!

I just sent my Mad Dog 3.0 for a Universal tuneup and can't wait to get them back! Any idea how long the turnaround time right now is?
