Ditto.

AK120 has a very snappy start up.

I got two 32gb cards because i read they sounded better and they were pretty reasonable, now i am constantly taking songs on and off to make room......and kicking myself the whole way!

Then upgrade to 64 GB cards or buy more 32 GB cards :). I sold my 64 GB cards because they didn't get used any more. I also have a SD/micro SD card holder which makes things quite convenient. I still wish the AK120 case had a way to remove the bottom portion to insert cards. Would be much more convenient.

Great article. I think it's an amazing device the only problem I have is ripping a CD to WAV and the album work not showing and then putting the file into an unknown album. I have emailed iriver regarding this and wondered if you have experienced this. I like WAV files they just seem to sound clearer. I would be grateful for your views. Regards

Yea I like having the ability to have album art with WAV files like with my HM901.  It wouldn't be difficult to implement at all - the Hifiman just take a folder.jpg or cover.gif or any art files present inside the folder as the album art.  Would definitely want to see the same implemented with AK120.

This, and also iriver need to fix the 500x500 size limit on album art.

To the best of my knowledge there never has been a size limit for album art on the AK120. There used to be one on earlier firmwares of the ak100, but as far as I know the ak120 has always been fine. Some of my artwork is around 2500 x 2500. I need to change it up, but just to make the files smaller, not because it won't show.

I lot of mine won't show for me and I need to resize to 500x500 or below to make it work.  PITA.....  But you may be right as I did my resizing with my AK100 already and have stick to the 500 limit ever since.  Never really tested larger files on the AK120.  Has that been fixed for the Ak100?

Maybe if JMoon comes back we can all request for this. I specifically use WAV myself and would love for the limited tag support and album art to show up. It works on the DX100 to my knowledge.

Why not use FLAC?

For the similar song, the size of Wav is many times larger than FLAC, am I right?

Minus: Need more MicroSD Card.

Maybe slightly less than double the size.
