Any chance you could post a picture of the PCB. I have a Pass Zen desktop amp and the thought of a portable one is almost irresistable:)

Here is my board:

Decware also has the clean board and schematic posted on their site. Two of the caps on this board were speced out the wrong pin spacing and I will be changing them out when I get the right ones.

At the very least let us opt out of the "helpful," directed marketing...

@bearFNF: agree - its bad enough that we all get junk mail in our in-boxes every day.

However, I'm thinking of a sustainable way to maintain a "Head-Fi App" over the long term.  This includes regular updates, submitting it through Apple (in the case of iDevice app), handling bug reports, etc. etc.  Lots of open source projects stall because of lack of planning and on-going support (both technical & financial).  I think we'd need to somehow involve vendors so that they see the benefits and willing to provide on-going funding for feeding & care for the App.

What? Where did you see that they were a dead issue?

I have no problem with vendors being involved, just give me the choice to opt out of the ads, like let us select the vendors we want to see or pay to turn them off.

but this is all academic anyway...oh well.

Stalking

If you've spent any amount of time in the Headphone Sightings threads, you already know that eying someone from afar - and then stalking them for a few minutes - just isn't the best way to go.  Quite frankly, it gives people the heebie jeebies, especially if they turn out NOT to be Head-Fiers.  So let's just rule that out right away.

Pointing

First of all, it's not nice to point.  But more importantly, pointing back and forth at someone else and your ear makes you look EFFING MENTAL.  Don't believe me?  Go outside and try it sometime.  When small children (and sometimes feral dogs) start backing away from you, take that as a sign of what NOT to do.

T-Shirts

We simply can't go around wearing them constantly on the off chance that - one of these days - we might run into another Head-Fier.  Wearing one shirt for years on end?  No, we're not freaks after all.  Plus, just being whacked out on headphones is enough.  Perpetually wearing a Head-Fi "uniform" ain't gonna get no play wit da ladies if you know what I mean.

Yelling

blink.gif  LOL, no.  Just no.

So what can we do?  What is a polite, silent, and on-demand way indicating that you are a Head-Fier IRL?  Well after giving it much thought, I believe that I have come up with a workable solution.  My fellow Head-Fiers, I present you with the (Unofficial Head-Fi Gang Sign).

They're headphones, get it?  biggrin.gif  BTW, excuse the rough pic guys and gals.  This is still a working concept after all.

Now we can quietly and steathily, flash a simple sign to others.  If they flash it back, then we have a positive identification.  If they don't, just smile and brush it off... no harm done.

So what do y'all think?

Also, once positive identification is made, we might want to have some way of confirming details.  As a supplemental device, I present to you Head-Fi ID cards!

Seriously!  It's 2013 guys, and ID cards are NOT rocket science.  Why don't we have these things already?!?!  Maybe these things can be sent out to people when they hit Supremus?

For one where is my ID card, cmon you guys <3

And for second... I'll usually introduce my self to ANY ONE wearing good cans around there neck, and when I'm on campus... there's not to many where I live sadly. Non the less I'm bold enough to talk to random Audiophiles [one of my professors was an AudioPhile... that was fun <3]

But still where mah ID card :D, although we could do like... a bracelet [one of them rubber ones] or something since I don't like things on my hands, I'd proably fasten it to something maybe like a necklace or something :O

Hey guys, sorry about the massive delay.  The stickers project is back on track.

Also, regarding the Head-Fi Gang Sign:

Very astute troller.

Although you need to be a member of the illuminati to go 33rd degree, so I've read.

I wonder where our grand master rates?

The only masonry I relate to is the bricks thrown my way.

I for one would love the head-Fi ID card, awesome idea like a membership card, I would be happy to pay the small production fee.
Here in Portugal we don't get many headfiers so I can't really stalk people as hardle anyone has nice headphones here.
