Waxy Ears

I have a question. When I use my earbud, my ear gets kinda waxy. It doesn't happen when I use earpods. (I recently used a free earbud that came with my speaker after one side of my earpod lost its sound) Does this happen to all earbuds?

And the air pressure on my ear seems pretty strong too. Is it because the buds are too big for me?

It doesn't matter what thing you insert into your ears, eventually it'll produce ear wax as it's a natural response of your ear to protect itself. I had that problem too. All I can suggest is, after your use of earphone, clean your ears and your earbud, eventually your ears will get used to it and it'll produce less ear wax. And yes, try a smaller earbuds.

Just my experience though.

My audiologist suggested that I might consider opening a candle factory.
