As far as the wall distance, they are front ported. So they don't need to breathe in the back the way that rear ported speakers would. Try them and see what sounds best to you. However, you might want to try toeing them into towards you. Also, setting speakers so that the tweeters are aimed at your ear level can often improve sound.

Do you have volume attenuation on the DacMagic? If so get a pair of Behringer Truth B3030A's... If you like the sound Class "D" type amps make they are the best damn speakers under 1000 GBP imo.

If this is for audio hi-fi playback, I'd go with the KRK Rokit speakers with their matching subwoofer (optional). If you want easy control, you can even get something like the Schiit Asgard 2 to use as both a headphone amp and speaker preamp.

There's no audio SQ reason to match the subwoofer with the same manufacturer as the speakers like there is to match speakers in a set. Other subwoofers (pro or home audio) might be a better performance value.
