I've never fallen asleep so many times on an IEM. haha. I just don't want to stop listening until it's too late. ZZzZzzzzzz

As far as I can tell, still no sign of any wear on them and they work great. I actually woke up with them completely wrapped around my body, and my fuze magically disappeared in the blanket somewhere. Anyhow, good thing I have four sets, but this one seems pretty sturdy so far. :-)
Lies, I saw him eating baby back ribs with them on the other day.  Anyway, when we have the NE meet, I want to hear you reference pair, if there are that much variance to them. Because mine was a piece of shizzle.
Definitely. I'd be curious to hear yours as well.

Luisdent is a reference magnet. His white recabled mh1 I bought from him has significantly better bass than the 3 mh1's and 1 mh1c I had previously.

"If I get some really expensive equipment, that will mean I'll finally be respected....right guys?"

The ability to spend money can buy you e-cred on head-fi like nothing else!  Make sure you get the AK240II instead of just the AK240 if you want us to think you're cool...

In that case I'm buying an SR-009 as my Diddy Beats back up.

And they say love is color blind. My pair has been left untouched since i got the Tenores and i don't think this is a temporary difficulty in our relationship. I always suspected it wouldn't work though, i knew i could never get used to that ginormous bottom. I will probably dump it to a friend.

While i love the mh1 with modded bass, the "reference" tenore is far superior.

When it comes to hoarding, I think I win. :-P

AppleMark

I'm like the borg. Sorry gnarlsagan, your tenores have been assimilated. ;)

@luisdent do you still have the "bassier" set from gnarlsagan?  Just wondering if you could put them side by side with your reference level ones and see if the cable length are identical.

Ha, your ruthless pricing has forced me to do the search for a reference pair myself. ;)

Ordered two more Tenores from different sellers. When they arrive, I'll sacrifice the worst of the bunch to experiments with the back vent and filters, maybe also open it up.

Despite the bass issue (and questionable build quality) on my current pair, I find these IEMs very enjoyable overall and agree with shotgunshane that they're the best microdriver implementation so far.
