No, these are just so unbelievably bad sounding that I want to buy ALL of the stock of them so no one else has to suffer listening to them ever again....
EDIT: That was complete sarcasm. I absolutely need a backup pair of these, and my re400 are defective and going back, but even if they weren't defective, they'd be going back. I think I might sell all my other earphones now that I hesitated about selling like the pfe112. This just means I'll never ever listen to those again. :-P

Yeah. This thing is a rarity. There are a few iems that I think are what I would call neutral in a very reference sense. The er4s, pfe112, re400 and these.
All of the other iems have some sort of issue. Er4s isn't very comfortable for me, and has a bit low sub bass. Pfe112 has a bit peaky treble and distortion that is audible. Re400 is built like a tank.... that was complete sarcasm. My left earpiece is failing and they're brand new. Research seems to indicate hifiman earphones are notorious for these sort of issues with cables and drivers.
Even still, they are all very nice iems and they are fairly neutral. These are like an er4s with more bass and comfort. Bam! That's what I'm talking about. After searching through 50+ iems you're darn right I'm buying a backup. ;)
o.k., I can't say i've listened to these long, and they might grow on me differently, but I'm going to say it. Wow. These are amazing. As in they are pretty much everything i've ever wanted in an earphone.
(Can you taste the hype yet?)
