Has anyone ordered these through amazon.jp and shipped to Australia or knows about it and is it worth the price difference ?

Bought the Carbo Basso from amazon.jp for AU$46.18 and paid Tenso for shipment, AU$20.99.
If you're happy with the bass on the tenore, no need to get the basso. But if you want a massive soundstage plus awesome bass quantity w/o bass-bleeds, the Bassos are a must have! A great compliment to your tenore. I didn't get the tenore because I already have the H200s which have great mids. If I didn't I would have bought the tenore as well.
Are the mids on the Basso inferior to the Tenore? I love the mids on the Tenore and am looking for something with equal or better mids with a little more bass.
The JVC HA-S500 with WS55 have more bass, but the mids are not as engaging, so I use the Tenore more.

you bet, I'm on the zero audio bandwagon! i love the tenores and just ordered the bassos. they have a unique sound which is excellent at any price
especially what they sell for, as a "steal", musically rewarding, revealing and make me dance in place! i still listen to my lovely sony sea-3,
new sony xbr 7550 and ATH CKM99S but these are in a class by themselves! still plan on eventually auditioning S2, and ATH CKS 1000s
We are in a golden age of oems!
I get driver flex with my Bassos but it's only when I insert them in my ears so it's not enough to bother me (My FX101s did it as well). My double flange tips from MEElec should be here soon. What exactly is it that they change with the sound on the Bassos?
I need to try and sort a problem I have with my Bassos though; when I plug them into my computer, the wire keeps getting caught sort of under the arm on my chair so I have to be careful that I don't turn to the left too quick as the wire gets stuck and could end up ripping the IEMs out of my 3.5mm port. I'm not quite sure how I can get them to stop getting stuck? My computer is over to the right of my chair underneath my desk.

I don't have the Tenore, so I can't compare. To me personally, the Basso sounds like a flat sound signature with bass boost turned on. So a very balanced sounding bass earphone IMO.
Massive soundstage compared to any other tips I've tried.

How do you know when you have driver flex? Wondering if I have them with the Tenore.

thats great to know, thank you for your insightful comment!
the way you describe the basso it seems like an impossible ideal sound
for electronica such as my shaman djs Buddhabomb and Future Simple
and of course SHPONGLE..and since the new Shpongle album is coming
out july 29th..(MUSEUM OF CONSCIOUSNESS) .....i was going to try to hold my ground with the Tenores,
and THEN a moment later i got an e mail from WHITE RABBIT, offering to get me the bassos and ship them from japan, i was caught in the vortex
of head fi madness. bassos are now on their way!. mad scientists of sound
audio shamans, must peer deeper in the sound!!!! we live in such a glorious age
of IEM sound barrier breakthroughs..Bring on the Bassos!!
Got the MEElec double flange tips and gave them a whirl on my Bassos. I get the driver flex less now, they fit better in my ears and the soundstage is wider. Also, not sure if it's just me, but sounds like there is very slightly more bass?
