Τhey resemble Larry Bird. They may be a little too flabby for their own good, but that doesn't really stop them from doing everything on the court ;)

Hehe I already prefer them over my ex1000

Larry Bird? No change with burn in? You two inspire so much confidence in your knowledge with your answers. No offense

Yes sir. The Tenores are a beast of a 'phone when they technically behave.

Thought they would be some better than the mh1c but not to become my 2nd favourite iem they beat most of the expensive triple drivers I've heard easily imo

Yes, my pairs didn't change with burn in and that's a fact. Luisdent has reported the same thing with his. I am not claiming that burn in is always ineffective, i reported changes with the mh1c but i could document those changes since i also had more than one pair of these.

And btw, i am a huge fan of Larry Bird ;).

They are indeed very good. I like them a lot. I'd need to hear the FA4E again but I'd probably take those over these, but not by a large margin, like you said. Dynamics are a bit brickwalled and bass is probably my least favorite part, but other than that, they are phenominal. I actually like them for watching movies even more than music.

None taken. biggrin.gif

Not sure what you were expecting really... a thesis on not hearing anything worth mentioning or at all from burn in so far on the Tenore?

While I prefer my writing to be colorful, I was forthcoming. Not much more you can ask, IMO.

SQ wise, I would take the pair I listened to over the EX1000 but vocals are still something I really(really) liked on them sonys. Everything posted on this thread on the table, GR07 BE front and center. I'm yet to hear the FA4E, sadly.

Getting channel imbalance and reduced volume on my last "reference" Tenore. Well it was fun while it lasted guys. I'll be going back to the ER4S for good. Never had a single issue with that one. Anyone want to bulk buy some faulty Tenores at a massive discount?

Bought them from this seller http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281370938634?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 the new tuned fa 4e(fixed mid driver and new high-mids crossover) is a class or two above but it's very very good the other version was great but this truly excels anyway I easily take the tenore over the ex1000, um3x, shure 535 and the likes...

Yeah it's gone now after I waited five minutes or so. Still, never had to do this with any other iem. The ER4S always sounds the same, no exceptions. I don't really want to play mind games with myself wondering whether the sound is different this time. I'd rather use something that just works, and the Tenore just doesn't. Using eq is a much better option compared to this, even though using eq sucks. Consistency is more important than convenience to me in this hobby.
