Lol, I mean think about it. The "spirals" just amount to like perhaps 30 tiny little divots in the surface of the interior of the tip aligned in a concentric pattern. There's no damn way in hell that has any sort of perceivable effect on anything except your wallet

Actually now that I count the dots there are 15 of them on the large tip, so my original estimate was spot on

Damn it, those GODLY cute lil' dimple spiral tips are wasted on your bird ears, just send them over to me and i'll GLADLY trade you some regular JVC wide bores pretty please.

The Tenore is upstairs and it's hot up there. It probably would kill me to make the trip actually.

And I need the tips in the event that I sell off the FX850

Jeez Wokka Wokka. Triple posting. You're like slowly morphing into Mochill

I absolutely agree with you. I still have my large pair of Spiral Dots from my now sold FX650's, and I put them on the Tenores and Pistons, and I didn't hear any appreciable difference in sound quality. Actually, I didn't like the way the bass sounded to be honest. So I put the spirals on my AM-90's, and I'm using my FXT90 tips on the Pistons (great synergy) and Sennheiser CX880 tips on the Tenores, and I'm getting a sweet smooth sound with quality bass with these. Spiral dot tips are overrated.

What do these tips look like ? Are they silicon ones with a split in the middle ?

Maybe a photo shot of bore would help.

Yeah those would be the ones. With the filter guard. But they also come with ones with a soft screen instead of a guard. smily_headphones1.gif

These things ? Can't see the filter guards. Maybe a non genuine shot.

Selection here that I can consider ordering.

Those look like knockoffs, since the authentic Sennheiser ones are a diagonal post. Those look horizontal, but yeah, those are like the ones included with the CX880. I also have the ones like the IE800 with the screen on them, which are next to those. Can't hurt to try them out.

ehhh you do know those were only rough initial impressions right, cuz i didn't really listen to those tenores for more than 3 hrs before i posted about them. Tip rolled mo' than actual listen so ya'll just got trolled REAL GUD. hoho  ;)

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
But i'll no doubt update the sonic differences with different tips in the final write-up fo' sho. :)

Every now and again on mine, the sound in one side goes quiet, but then I just take the tips off, wipe the nozzle part down and the little airhole thing on the back and they're fine again. Is this a fault or?
