BTW if you still got the Tenore try with TF10 silicon tip. I think you might like the different sound character of da reference pair.

Don't encourage this tom_trollery meng.

Funny that you mentioned those TF10 tips, tip rolled most of my collection on them but just didn't try the TF10. LoL But for reals for reals, HOW YOU KNOW I GOTS DEM TF-10 TIPS THOUGH??? WHO YOU BEEN TALKIN' TO???

Oh btw the best tips i like on these tenores are the smallest narrow bore ones from my Ostry KC06. It doesn't give me a vacuum seal like the stock tip which can mess up the sound sometimes, more deeper insertion but retain a good semi-vacuum seal. Sound sweet on these tenores fo' sho.

Not sure what a reference set is, but I tell you one thing... I haven't wanted/needed more audio quality than the Tenores. Best earphone purchase I've made ever hands down.

Kids, papa is home after abandoning us for months.  :(  Some strange man named Luisdent came in and took over our house, and kept telling us his was reference.

Hmm but maybe that's why you thought they were boring ? Should've tried larger bore. Bigger soundstage, increased 3D stereo & depth and more sub bass. Might end up sounding Non Reference but sure is fun & full of character. wink_face.gif

How ya' gonna tell me you weren't thirsty for some mo' bassy IEMs and was lookin' for an upgrade to these Tenores for the LONGEST tyme.  But i guess you just gave up and bought into the post TOTLer tenore hype. ;)

C'mon be honest now. : P

Damn it you were spot on, these Tenores just got A LOT mo' musical as you stated!!! WOOOOOO SWEET BABY JESUS!!! :basshead:

Oh and the wide bore Ostry KC06 tips has the same affect as the TF-10 tips so.... no need to buy those extra tips if you have the Ostry tips around. Both set of birdie tips rocks these tenores!!!

Oh but the wider bore tips have A LOT mo' driver flex, where as the mo' narrow bore tips has only a tiny bit, but it doesn't really affect the overall sound though phewwww!!! :beerchug:

I know Cn11 says the Tenore sounds best with the DITA tips. I haven't heard that yet since I sold him my DITA. Might have to meet up and verify. I'm just curious which tips most resemble DITAs. I use Ortofons and it sounds great

Will be getting those Ortofons tips in soon from a trade that literally just went live.

Hook me up with a set of DITA tips birdie_man, cuz lord know i can't afford dem.

Maybe some spiral JVC jelly roll tips that got all the hype of late???

You have the JVC Woodies no birdie???

Go tip roll fool!!!

The spirals are on the CKR9. I'm not sure that the spiral dot actually does anything for the sound. It just sounds like any other wide bore tip to me, except dimpled and pitted with placebo.

And I'd rather listen to the UERM anyway. The Tenore is my out and about phone
