Great impressions! Just a short comment: from my experience, somewhat recessed mids (as compared to diffuse field reference) are quite beneficial to a 3D soundstage presentation, as they convey a more realistic feeling of distance and depth. On the other hand, too much mids presence may sound unrealistically close and impair the spatial presentation.

Going by the phones I've heard, this list strikes me as somewhat bizarre.

I think one of the biggest differences was imaging and soundstage. Even though the mids were more recessed on the 1p2, they had a 3-D magic to them, and sense of wrapping you in aural bliss that was missing on the G-2.

Sennheiser IE80 is rated higher than Aurisonics ASG-2. May I know why please?
Sennheiser IE800 maybe more preferred to Aurisonics ASG-2, but Sennheiser IE80?

I'm personally more interested as to why the IE800 and FX700 are so low on the list.
