The ASG-2's cable is like fine cashmere compared to the MH1's flapjack flubber. I get the feeling that the latter's cable was the result of a drunken fling involving a linguine press and copious amounts of silly putty. The ASG-2's cable is pretty solid imo.

For me, what's worse than the consistency of the Sony cable is the back-to-front nature of the Y-split. I'm not a fan of J-cords at the best of times, but it would be much less annoying if everything went in the same direction.

I'm not sure what you mean "back to front"?

Sony earphones usually come with J-Cord (asymmetric) cables which supposed to be wore behind your neck.

The way it makes the cable fold back on itself.

Wow.

I listened to the entire album without skipping a single track. It reminded me why I'm in the hobby. The ASG-2 completely disappeared, leaving me and Lorde. Usually the fact that we use headphones can be a distraction from the music, but not with this album. I felt like I was in the studio, right in the booth with Lorde and the engineers. I didn't find the need to Eq down the bass either. It was a welcome feature on these tracks.

I think I might put my G2 on tour again for those who want to hear it but haven't had the chance. I also have James' ER4S, which he's given permission to loan briefly to member who want to hear this legendary phone. Let me know guys.

Damn haha dat data usage i would burn through my 5gb monthly in a WEEK like that LOL !

Haha. Use wifi, sync playlists or starred tracks to your device for offline use.

Hahah lol nah my smartphone is more for watching movies and tv series on the go its full of them 64gb full lol no space for my music hahaha thats why i store them on 2 32gb micro sd cards and the internal ak100 32gb , like that i can keep 70% of my library ! No way my smartphone can hold that much =)

Though i did see what my buddy did ,

He got the AK10 and loaded a 64gb SD card full of his pick of music and loads the rest on his portable SSD and quickly loads them to the phone... god he looked like a walking telephone pole hahaha wires hanging everywhere LOL

fanboy of the ASG-2s here! I love love love there sound! immensely so!with the bass port opened all the way, its a full robust sound, with great body! and the audio bouquet that it leaves me with, fills me full of endearment for these beauties!

anyways I picked up Decawares beautiful ZenHead! "http://www.decware.com/newsite/zenhead.htm" pairs very nice along with the G-2s, holy ****zu it sure does, it adds to an already enormous soundstage! is 4D possible? hhmmm, anyway anyways, I got that along with Cypher Labs -R tucked into a pouch and carry it everywhere!

Thanks Dale, Andy, and crew!

I have heard some news, but I've been asked not to say anything yet. It's pretty big stuff though.

5 months gone, new AS coming out soon and they haven't even updated their website to include ASG-2 or the aforementioned new website...

Give it time. All will be updated soon enough. I'm sure Dale is hard at work on something like the mad scientist that he is.
