[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons) - Page 189

i used normal white tips enclosed with ASG2. since the structure of my ear canal is somewhat weird i easily achieve deep insertion even with normal tips. flange do not work for, they hurt me.

The real difference between Obraztova and Antonacci (the two Carmens) is size of voice and what they do with it. Ms Obraztova is able to turn upstage and still be audible over the full chorus. That's damn impressive when you are talking about close to 100 choristers. You can hear how that voice is echoing out in the hall with the size and warmth. She also makes excellent text choices. It's excellent singing and performing from top to bottom. Ms Antonacci is a tremendous performer, but is not even close to the same vocal class as Ms Obraztova. That's not to say that she isn't an excellent singer by any standards, but if you heard the two of them side by side in the house there would be no comparison.

And speaking of powerful voices and performances... I'll just leave these right here.

Or there's this:

The Vienna Phil wraps you up and carries you away through the ASG-2. And that voice! This may be a studio recording, but in the 50s you stood in the same room with the orchestra with the mic 5-10 feet from you. That way the conductor could still balance the orchestra and you had a connection with the players. No editing, no retakes, no cuts and snips... You can even hear when Knappertsbusch loses his baton and it goes flying or when someone shifts in their chair. Awesome little touches that make this an incredible recording.

Yes, the only trouble with that iEM is that it's made in Germany, costs $515 for us living in, er, Europe (or the European Union [EU], rather), and those in the USA or other countries outside the EU may actually end up paying less as Thomann, the on-line shop these can be purchased from, deduct German VAT / tax (~20%) when they ship items outside the EU.

^   And to make matters worse, the give you a 3-year warranty on all items purchased from them.

music, 3 year warranty nice but i am not sure it applies for all products, besides you receive 1 year limited warranty anyway. also if item is irreparable because of manufacturer situation they will refund you only residual value minus depreciation, had that on my Sony PC, got some peanuts and told NA f'ck U to them. at the time i was paying new Sony that cost real money and they even did not care to match product class with adequate quality PC cost. do you like this? I do not. i mean EU... not overseas customers.
