Well wish me luck with the SE5 as that is the king of crossovers :P.

The 1plus2 has a lot better coherency than the se5. I'll put up a comparison in the 1plus2 thread.

If he said I am not happy and would like my money back, I would give him his money back. I bet you would like to purchase stuff from me, no...

All this 'he could, you could' is drivel!
Jk vwinter... Jk. Don't hatez me too bro

Unfortunately, that wasn't exactly the case. Several of those early adopters I mentioned would only admit privately how bad (or not so good) the SM3s were, either because they wanted to sell their pairs and/or didn't want to lose face / or whatever (little) credibility they had. After I trashed the SM3s, those who also did so publicly were mostly either people who'd just purchased a new pair and were very disappointed, or people who'd managed to audition them or get a loaner.

Ah I do remember this point being discussed. I actually just had a very relevant chat with another head-fier regarding this exact issue. This thread lately though is actually much better than average as far as open-mindedness towards differing viewpoints. It seems like we're all learning a bit more about how people perceive sound.

Also, since Tinyman has made such a persuasive argument, who will volunteer their ASG-2 to Rin for possible measurement corrections to be made? I'm not saying Rin erred in measuring, but there seems to be enough evidence to allow for the possibility that Unity's ASG-2 was atypical.

I put forward ekes pair for sacrifice. Eke, where are you mate? Come up and take your prize. Maybe get the ASG 2 from the person with the most favorable review and experience is good idea.

Also, an update to my situation will be posted when I feel the dust has settled. So far however, Aurisonics customer service continues to impress.

We just got our CE certification to sell in the EU finally and have dealers waiting and a distributor. Should be able to get things rolling in the EU soon.

I can see it now:

That, Mr Idsynchrono_24, is one of the funniest things I've seen written around here for a while — brilliant!

And with such poise and class. I give it a 9.3. If only he had done one more back tuck.
