I agree 100% , low gain current is sublime....imaging and soundstage are compromised at high gain to a degree , but it's too early in my listening experience to state that to be a fact.This baby really takes fight with quality recordings.Feed it good food and it will reward you.Nice punchy controlled bass, enhanced mids , NO sibilance to this point.Very detailed, but very musical.It has also taken my Lawton modified ( Denon) LA7000 into the stratosphere........ho hum
