I noticed this today:

The Galaxy S III is a strong contender at a more reasonable price now that the S4 is released I'm preparing for it.

It's been about a year since the phone released, and in another tweet mentioned that Voodoo is crashing with stock kernel. It'll still be a while before he releases it for the Note II and S III, depending on how long it takes to fix the crashes. At least we got an update that it is indeed still in development.

The Galaxy S4 seems to be set at 48Khz upsampling and Samsung refuses to change it to 44.1Khz as per Supercurio's other tweet. Voodoo for S4 may take even longer since he has to work around that forced upscaling. It seems like there are more phones being released than he can support in the same time span as he just received an i9500 recently.

Don't worry too much about Voodoo being released. There are custom kernels with audio improvements such as Siyah and N.E.A.K. for the S III and Note II that can hold you over until a proper Voodoo release is out.
