And somehow it's easier to believe that a limited VSD1 version exists that sounds better than all the other sub-$100 vsonic iems because the standard VSD1/S is already up there in performance than to believe that Brainwavz just made a $20-iem that suddenly sounds better than every single sub-$100 iem they've made before.

Anyway, I'm not the type who bases his opinion on assumptions or other people's opinions and that's why I also have the Deltas on their way to me. Of course, I wouldn't mind if the Delta turns out to be a great performer - all I'm saying is that I don't have unrealistically high hopes about it just because a few people said it's on VSD1's level and even better but I'm always happy to be proven wrong and if that's the case I'll be really hyping these Deltas. For now, I just sit and wait.

Wow, covering all of your bases aren't you. You a lawyer or something? :p

Well, I'm trying to tie any loose ends in my statement, so no one can accuse me of being biased - this has nothing to do with anyone being a lawyer . If that is the case, then as I'll be applying for a judge or prosecutor position next spring, you can expect very soon to have every single of your comments severely judged :D

As long as it's over a pint of beer, I'm okay with that!

Nah, you don't want that even over a lot of drinks. It's a good thing that I'm usually very friendly in any online forums coz otherwise I would have been banned from here a long time ago - a lot of people can't handle the truth and I can be a very harsh critic and I have a bad habit of imputing guilt to people even for the smallest reason. So we should better just drink without you being judged by me.

Btw, apparently my VSD1 LE has been dispatched, so now I should just wait  patiently.

Yeah, VSD1/S is a great purchase for newcomers and people on a budget because it's versatile and is a very solid performer.

I'm thinking of making one big review of all the three versions once the VSD1LE arrives and undergoes burn-in. While this thread is going nicely, it is confusing for new readers because the OP hasn't updated the first post at all and there are just initial impressions in it and everything else like comparisons and other impressions is scattered across the pages.

I've been considering it for a while even though I'm very lazy. One thing is sure - if I make such a review, it will be written in Comic Sans :D

For those who own the VSD1 LE, are they harsh and sibilant? I just got the VSD1S and it's a bit sibilant to my ears, just wondering if they fixed it on the limited edition.

Yeah, I also purchased it from him coz it's like 30% cheaper than the headphoniaks' price and headphoniaks is out of stock anyway. Did you ask him for the number? Mine is No.157.

Well, I'm still waiting but by the time we receive it to answer your question, it will most likely be out of stock even if you're considering getting the limited edition. All Vsonic iems are prone to some sibilance but actually VSD1S is one of the better vsonic iems in that regard. Of course, there is still possibility that the limited edition is even less prone to sibilance.
