The wait is a long one, but WORTH IT! When you get them and burn them in (yes, like the ha-fxt90, they require a bit of prolonged burn in), please post your thoughts on here. I'm almost 100% positive you are gonna love the sound, fit, and build of these things. I can't think of a better budget phone that packs as much high fidelity punch out of the box (definitely not the Brainwavz Deltas and JVC FX 40, two budget pretenders)??

I just started auditioning the VSONIC VSD1S exclusively today, and though I was impressed with these out of the box and with less than a couple hours of burn in (I was using my FXT90's and my now sold XBA-30), now that I've put away my 90's and are giving these this week, these might very well leap frog my FXT90's as my favorite IEM (at least until my S2's arrive). Another high class winner from VSONIC.

Anyone also have the Fidelio S2?? The more I spend time with my VSD1S's...I'm not so sure I needed the Fidelio's? Are the S2's better than the VSD1S sonically??

I have had a chance to listen to both and here if my write-up on them. Hope this helps. :)

THANKS SF!!! That was an awesome write up and it helped me immensely! Since you own several of the iem's I also owned or own, your ears are SPOT ON with mine with how you describe the sound sigs, so I'm definitely looking forward to my S2's, and glad i went with those instead of repurchasing the TF10 or the FXZ200. I'm not a basshead, so the FXZ200 would not work for me, plus i already have the FXT90, which is essentially the 200 without a woofer/sub woofer. i was also told the T-Peos H-100 is a good replication of the TF 10 sound as well, so i'm looking into those.

Thanks again for the review link...

haha no problemo meng, glad that was able to help and that my troll ears are pretty decent. Thanks for the kind words. :beerchug:

Yeppp don't go for those FXZ200, cuz there are much better sounding gears than them these days. They are not that pricey now, but still they are wayyy too powerful in their presentation, combined with a lack soundstage for that big/ powerful of theirs makes them sound a bit clumsy and bass cannon like esp. if you love spaciousness/ atmosphere in your music, and you have to crank them pretty loud just to hear them properly hence they can give your ears a good unpleasant ringing if you listen to them for too long. They once made me think i was losing my hearing cuz i listened to them one night for too long and the next day my ears were ringing and couldn't hear properly for most of the day. :  (

So going with those S2s is a much wiser choice esp. if you have quality sources which will make them scale nicely. I might pick them up in the future if i can get them for like $50. hehehe But in the meanwhile i have no need for them. Just too bad that the mids on the S2s is a little bit recessed esp. when compared to the VSD1s and the gr07 BEs so.... that is like the only negative i can think of for them really. Oh not really a fan of their flat cable as well, but that is just for superficial reasons. : P

I just picked up the T-Peos H-100 for $80.00 in near mint. I'm stoked for those too! I'm done for now. Probably won't buy anything more for a year. Maybe add something next Christmas. I'm really enjoying these VSD1S. A lot! Though I'm doing some burn in at the moment, so my FXT90's are back in rotation. :)

Hmmm what makes you wanna pick up those H-100s??? Cuz there is a cheaper budget set of them that was just released. Not sure if they sound the same or not though.....

Not gonna bite on those new H-100's. From reading the thread, they might be cheaper, but the description of the sound signature sounds a lot like the same issues that plague the FXT90 and above. The hard treble and aggressive mids. I'll stick to the FXT90 for that particular sound signature.

haha glad you did you homework 1st before buying. Those original H-100s seems peaky at some places as well so.... Maybe you should try the Dunu DN-1000s cuz some have stated that they blow the gr07 outta' the water!!!  LoL :triportsad:

Got me somewhat curious about them now, but not diggin' the cheap shiny bullet look of them. haha

I just got some T-Peos H-100's for $80.00 in near mint condition, so these are my last iem purchase for the forseeable future. Between those and my S2's, I think i'm covered for a good long while?

Thanks again!

The VSonics are my favorite IEM as of now. I'm just blown away by the sheer depth and how articulate the bass is, the warmth and buttery smoothness of the mids, and the completely tight but not overdone or sparkly highs. Beautifulness....
