If someone has an ODAC I can borrow, I'd also appreciate it very much! Kinda curious how it compares to the Fiio D3, though I'm sure ODAC is a far less cumbersome setup.

Bill, I'll let you borrow my ODAC! Not for the whole time though, I will need it for my setupwink.gif

Thanks!

If you need a computer, I can also lug along a Vaio for the purpose.

I may need it if Frank doesn't have the Oppo. Thanks for the offer:)

I'm now +1, She won't actually be there for the headphone event, being 8 hours and all, but I'm buying 2 tickets, so hopefully they can both count toward the total.

I've got something in the morning so I might show up a little late. Can y'all save a spot for my gear? Also, I still don't have a computer, so if I can be within USB mooching distance of someone else's computer that would be swell. biggrin.gif

Stoked to hear some gear! Did I read that Audeze now has a closed-back phone? Gotta make a point of demoing that.

Bill-P, since you got MCA cups, and I'm getting mine soon, and this is what he said about my DT880 cups, "Dude, I hooked you up big.  These look incredible and sound as very nice.  I'll post pics tonight or tomorrow.  They're pretty much the baddest 880's you're going to see.":)

Ok guys this is going to be updated information  on the first page shortly. First off everyone should buy your tickets online. You need to bring your receipt to the  show if your coming Friday for your badges or we will ask for your receipts on Saturday  to get your badges which will have your name on it if you buy them online.  The setup will be at 9am before the show opens up and it will have an area for you to bring your gear in and setup easily. The breakdowns should start at about 5Pm as we close the rooms at 6PM.

I appreciate all of your support and please try to get all your tickets online as it will make this run more smoothly as the show starts at 10AM and you will be in the show for 9AM and it will be easier to get the room flowing easily. This is going to be a super meet and an really special show as well so take advantage and see all there is to see over the three days. I will be with you guys all day Saturday and covering lot of the show on on the other two days for Dagogo . keep looking at the first page for more updates as I get them. You need your badges to get into the meet.

Hmm, I might be able to come! Will probably pay for a ticket soon after I finalize my ride.

Any recommendations for a first timer?

Yes, thank you!  That would be great as I'm totally missing a source for the meet.  HiFiGuy will probably be bringing his new ADL Esprit so he'll need his MacBook for that.

BTW Frank, have you been mapping out table arrangements?  I think it's pretty safe to say that Bill-P, Wolfetan44, HiFiGuy528, mikemercer and I will all want to share tables in close proximity to each other so that we can watch over each others' stuff.  SanJoseCanJunkie, LiuTim and Aamefford, you guys want in on the table sharing/proximity arrangements?  I don't think I'll need more than half a table.  How about you guys?

AND... they confirmed at the L.A. meet that it would be ready by the holidays (we have it captured on vid).

I'm with warren on the table arrangements.

I'm thinking of bringing a trusted "golden ear" friend along to help me evaluate sounds.....

Damn.  My latest PET-CT scan shows at least one new tumor.  Darned aggressive, this strain is.  I'll see my primary onco doc on Monday.  If I get back on chemo this coming week, I'll have trouble attending... dragging and zombified.  But we'll see the timing of it all.  There will be radiation too, and a pill that may have some side effects.

I'm so bummed... was tumor free after my last surgery (nasty business but easy recovery).  And I'm feeling relatively energetic. I'd like to attend at least some of each day, so that energy would come in handing.  In the worst case, an aggressive chemo could damage my hearing... permanently.  Uh-oh....
