Bummer... I'm coming from the wrong direction. You need someone coming from Berkeley or beyond, yes?

About Cardas Cables: Do they have any participation at the show as a whole, or at the headphone meet?

I'll be in touch with them this week, and I'm tempted to see what we can borrow.

Lots of benefit if people can hear and see their wares for Senn, LCD2/3, etc.

If they loan me some cables, I would need someone who would be attending most of the show to handle them -- pass them around and gather them back up.  (My health won't support being there a whole day much less a weekend.)

Hey Frank, I'm in SF and planning to attend. This will be my first meet and my first audio show of any kind. Was planning to make the trip down just to hear the Zu and Dynaudio speakers on display and was psyched to see fhe Headmasters event on the website.

As for headphones, I can bring my Grado PS-500 if anyone is interested in hearing them. Have been dying to hear the Schiit lineup and the Audezes, so I'm really looking forward to the show.

Thanks for all your hard work in organizing.

The Grado 500 will be a nice addition as well as you Matro. Sean Casey from Zu has a new speaker making a World Premiere and exciting stuff from all the other manufacturers and vendors  as well. Looking forward to meeting you and glad your joining the hHeadmasters.

Stoney unfortunately Cardas wont be attending. You can ask thme if they would loan a sample of their cable for the headphone meet. I am sure someone can help you if you get them.

Thanks, Frank! I love my Grados even if they aren't in the same ballpark as some of what the other guys will be bringing. I'm a little nervous ( for my wallet ) to hear what else is out there! As a reference, I'm currently amping them with a Yamaha CR2020 or straight from the source ( ie, computer or iPhone around the house ) and that's why I'm curious about how they will sound with the Schiit lineup. Should be fun.

Any more info on the new Zu speaker?

The only thiing I know about the Zu speaker is it may be debuted at the show and I may be getting one for review. LOL Cant say any more but it is exciting stuff and  can. Zu definitely going to be there.

Even if they don't have their new stuff, and we're just stuck listening to Omen Defs, it'll still be a treat.  smile.gif

Hi Warren

Sean told me he will have a new speaker to debut

I am hoping to sell my DT880 and 4.Ai by the time of the meet. So if its not sold by then, Warren will tell everybody againwink.gif

Also, I may have the Burson SL and Audez'e LCD-3 from the tour, but I'm not sure if I can bring it to the meet. Also, I may have 2 other unmentioned headphones, but I am not sure.

Hahaha, I know I'm just messing around.  I think Guttenberg had them last week?  Curious to hear it as I believe they're down to just one woofer and one tweeter for this one.

This is not the one Guttenberg had. This is a new design and starts at 3500.00 and goes up to 9K.
