If you buy a CIEM (or IEM for that matter) for the purpose of technical specifications, then I'm not sure how to advise you further. I would agree that price is a factor, but it shouldn't play a significant part in the choice of a CIEM/IEM.

Oh yeah! And btw, thanks for the advice guys!

Btw I got a discount for Jh7 not UMM

Were you the young lad in a checkered shirt at JH's booth yesterday? I remember Jerry attending to him and addressing his various fit issues :D

It was a real pity they didn't have the space to display all the UM1 with different colours at the Westone booth. There was a really good bundle on them and unfortunately, the UM1 did not suit my friend's preference and he ended up going with the Beyerdynamic XP1.

I demo-ed the FitEar 335 and Fostex Th900 and TH600 ...I was blow away. After audition, i understand that why some people prefer fostex than HD800... the low frequency really sweet, but i prefer to TH600 which i feel the low was just nice, not too much. wink_face.gif

And then, i tested the JH13 pro... feel that a bit mainstream sound in iem, the Fitear 335 really different, it was like hearing Stax009 compare to other flagship headphones, just my opinion.

Tried the Denon D600 tempted to buy, the pad just super comfort, then slide to the Fostex stand tried the TH600 and meet the TH900.. It is great but with that price range I think there are lot of others need to consider, keep thinking how it is fare with LCD 3/LCD 2..

It I have the money for a full size headphone rig, the no.1 in my list is Stax 009, followed by Fostex TH900.

The HD900 to me is just details freak, being too analytical while the Abyss earpad, weight and comfort is just a no-no, just like LCD2/3.

For IEM, I really dig the look of Jerry's full-CF custom.

The FP demo are way so much better than the demo sets at Jaben.

Make me think that should I go the custom route, I can forget about C435 and hoot the JH13 FP in full CF tongue_smile.gif

What's a good affordable venue? Community Center?

I think a community centre would be quite ok, or otherwise a small function room? I don't mind paying a little fee for a nice air con room :)
