You can use an iphone or android and bluetooth stream music to the Ak120 but I am not sure nor tried the bluetooth to transmit or to stream music using the Ak120 as a source though. Will check out and revert bk here.

The AK120 can connect to both my iPhone and Android devices but not my car stereo system.

Perhaps it is a compatibility issue or requires some setting on midnightwalker's car stereo?

That is what I am thinking now. But if the AK120 has latest Bluetooth version, it should compatible backward just like USB 3.0 and 2.0. I will check it more careful on tomorrow.

My 240 can transmit via bluetooth to my bluetooth headphone no problem and your 120 should able to do the same.

Oh then that means there might be issues which you had mentioned but its good to know it can wirelessly stream music via bluetooth, nice!

Ok, I hooked up to my charging guage with a 2.1A Innergie Charger, the AK120 draws a current of approx. 0.3A which is really low and that explains why the long charging time.

For those that are interested, the AK240 draws a current of approx. 0.9A

What's the max current your charger can provide?

The charger can supply a maximum of 4.2A, with 2 usb ports, each port supplies 2.1A respectively. I tested before and it was able to go up to 2.21A per port max which was above the specced figure.

Wow that's really super low! Even PC is more than enough to charge it optimally.

Yeah and Im really surprised and curious why such a modern device has such a low charging current. Usual PC USB ports supply a min. of 0.5A and newer higher performance computers/laptops supply 1A or more. 0.3A is really inefficient but I guess the internal circuitry especially the power side has been designed to minimise noise as much as possible during operation while charging.

I took the plunge... buying a used Rwak120b from a member here...cant wait. Going to use it with my Intruder. Upgrading from ZX1 and X3...should be a very nice upgrade.

I've owned my AK120-B for around a year now, bought the AK240 to compare against, returned the 240, and still enjoying the 120B.  You are in for a treat.

That's great to hear. I'm really looking forward to it. From what I've researched this should be my end game player for a bit. I'm still looking for a player by itself though... for days when I can't carry the brick around.

I'd suggest to lower the charger power to 0.5A and that would help to extend the life of the battery with slower charge

Too bad! For some reasons it keeps saying "Couldn't connect to the device. Please try again". The AK120 detects the car stereo system but the car stereo system doesn't see the AK120.
