Chaps - how the heck do you bring a playlist up - I've figured how to add tracks to a playlist, but can't see an option to see it...!

All charged up, tried with my Momentums and Amperiors...will give it a go later with IEM's...smily_headphones1.gif

Now just looking at new micro sd cards...will the 64GB Sandisk be okay with the AK120? This one specifically...

I highlighted the key word there.....

Thanks for the micro sd answer, anyone know about playlist playback?

Just like to confirm that under the same volume let say 45 on the same IEM, the AK120 is it louder than the AK100 ?

Thanks. regular_smile%20.gif

Does the AK120 has significant power ? As much as the DX100 ? Because the AK100 only has that issue: lack of power. So if I put so much in a DAP, I want power.

Just listening to Daft Punk's new album with the AK120 and my Momentum's...absolutely amazing.smily_headphones1.gif They seem suited to them better than the Amperiors. Dare I try them with my HD800's...biggrin.gif

It drives SE5 with no problem, so I guess it does has decent power.  It can only drive my LCD 3

I use 50 for SE5 (it's very loud, can't take it anymore). If you have ak100 you can compare.

65 for LCD 3 (very loud too). It really drives LCD 3 well! I didn't know it could be this good.

I can really imagine why Gavin love ak120 pairing with HD800. AK120 is a tap more musical than my Anedio D2. It does sound a lot like 901, but to my ears more exquisite. So the sound can potentially complement HD800 very well!

PRO EQ function is noticeably more V shaped with a bit more enhanced treble like DX100. But I couldn't take it for long with SE5 with too much micro detail (same thing happened too when I had my dx100). So I just use SE5 with the opened up non-eq ak120 sound. It already became one of my favourite combos. I don't miss dx100 or 901 at all now!

Plus the size, UI and design are simply much better.

If it's a "end game" DAP for 1+2, what more can you ask.

Around 45 listening to dance music with IE80's at the moment, can't go higher than 50 without blowing my ears off. Momentum's around 55, haven't tried my HD800's yet.

I dont think there is a significant increase in the power department however I am finding myself to listen to the AK120 5-8 steps lower than the AK100. I will get my ER4S back soon, if AK120 can run that without an amp than I can say that it will sound loud enough for all the IEM in the market.

Thanks for all the answers. I guess my question is not only about volume. You get largely enough volume on the AK100 for any iem. It is more about "weight of the sound and punch, which the AK100 lacks to some extent...
