So what is it about APE files that the AK120 doesn't like?

Perhaps try numbering tracks for multi-disc albums with a single digit for the disk number and two-digits for the track number, such that I have 101,102...110,201,202...210, etc.?

That's a good idea 101 102 ect.  Just insane amounts of work. It means i can't pull music and change it out when i want to from my hard drive where i have almost a TB of music.  I would have to relabel every time or delete everything i have on the 120 and redo all my files.  Thats it, i can take a month or two off work...

Tony-I don't know anything about ape files, never used them.

Hopefully you won't end up having to do a lot of work.  A month or two off from work to enjoy your AK120 doesn't sound bad though!

Anyone using the AK120 usb dac function?  On my AK100 the audio falls out of sync with video.  The longer it is connected the greater the lag between video and audio.  AK120 also have this issue?  AK240 or bust for an AK usb dac that works?

Not sure whether my experience is the same as yours.

I found that for some discs, the audio is using those hi-res format (e.g. DTS HD-MASTER), and when I watch the discs using AK120 as DAC, the video and audio will be out of sync. Then I need to change the USB DAC settings (somewhere in the Windows hardware properties of the DAC, I forgot exactly where) to output the sound as 24/192, and the out of sync problem was solved.

On mine choosing 16/44, 24/44, 24/96 has no effect on it.  16/192 is an option, 24/192 is not since it has no drivers.

Of course kidding, just use the folder formate, it's about the music. Just seems a bummer to pay for a fairly good ui then not be able to ever use it. When i use the CLAS with my iPod classic i have a perfect user interface for under $250 for the unit itself. Just kind of a let down. The sound on the 120 is very accurate and detailed though so that makes up for it obviously. It also plays flac and 24 bit which is a huge benefit too.
