Stock AK120 doesn't have that problem. I have encountered something similar (but I don't know if its exactly like you described) on another member's RWAK120S though. But that was before upgrading it to 1.37. I've not tried to see if the problem is repetitive on 1.37 on that RWAK120S.

Just updated to 1.37, resolve the back forward issue now left if forward by dragging the track. But 1.37 having much laggy Ui?
The back forward issue occurs when I'm using the balanced output of the ak120-b. Does not occur on the SE output. A simple pause play resolves it.

Update 1.37 resolved that problem, only remain same problem when to fast forward by dragging the track. As you said, pause and play back to normal.

Hi Sam

I had already read the very useful discussion that you have shown me and I know that there are no problems with FLAC files.
But with the method that I have indicated, even in the Apple Lossless files, you can view the covers.

A few weeks ago I ordered the ak120. I listen with my audeze lcd3 and the sound is really good.

I'm NEW in this kind of high end music listening. Is it possible to put these three componets working together?

AK120

LCD3

Burson Solist

I don't want to use my macbook. Does this combination make any sense? Can I connect my ak120 to

burson solist an the lcd 3 to the solist? Thanks for your help!

I ask you some advice based on your experiences.
In addition to an IEM I would use a portable headphone  with the AK120 without amplifier.
I'm interested it is really small and it does not matter that it is closed or open (isn't important because I would use them in the hotel and I do not need insulation), but that plays with the AK120 with best possible quality.
I listen to all kinds of music, but I want maximum definition with classical and jazz.
Beyerdynamic DT1350? What other suggestions of headphones with similar size?

whats your budget range , if you are looking at the dt1350, you should also look at the t51p and the HD25 ALU, not really sure if you would like the ALU with your kind of music though, there is also the aedle vk1

Hmm. don't think you can do that. you can get a 3.5 mm (to ak120) to RCA (burson) cable to have a try.

I had a custom silver cable made to connect to my triad via the RCA and 3.5 to the DACport LX. Sound is superb out of it. Other than that I've never enjoyed silver cable as a LOD. But in this case it worked out perfectly.

I've put my AK120 up for sale in case anyone's interested. It's served me well however I've moved on. You guys have been a great community here.

I have....the NW-ZX1. It suits my needs as almost all ear/headphone gear I have are low impedance and don't need to power/drive of the AK120. If I need power, I still have the HM-901.

Nice, I had yet try the Hm901 but don't like the design :P maybe should try it out on MOOK
