bmichels, no one will tell you which one. i love my 1p2 but JH Roxanne looks damn beautifull too and JH reputation is top notch plus aesthetically JH is a gem.
so i guess you must just tell yourself which one you want and go for it.

also thanks for spoiling my sleep because i also want Roxanne ... but i have 1p2 so it would be easier for me, i will wait till next black friday perhaps but JH is under serious consideration by me as second top IEM biggrin.gif

Personally I would not touch JH with a ten foot barge pole after the stunt they pulled with the JH3A. I have a long memory and their arrogance ensures I would never part with my hard earned money in that companies direction!

And... are you VERY VERY happy with your 1+2 ?  Which cable do you have ?   It is true that they have an umbelievable soundstage for an IEM ?

And....  Don' t you have any fit / isolation /tips  issue like some have with Universal IEM s ?

I did not scan the library after the update and will do that. Hopefully that will fix.

I've been thinking about the problem with the AK not showing up on the MAC. I think that happened to me when I did not properly eject the disks. I did something in the Disk utility and it showed again. I'll try remember and post.

This is a known issue. I experienced it with a new AK100. I sent it in to iRiver. They told me that the issue is on the software change list. Since the unit was new I exchanged for another new one. Same issue.

The cards not showing on your Mac is related to the cards not showing up. The issue is remedied by turning the unit off and on again. Re-scanning is not required.

The first unit I had would have the issue about every 2nd or 3rd time I flipped it on. With the new unit I've only experienced it once in the two weeks I've had it.

I can also tell you the issue is not related to card capacity. I experienced the issue with both 32G and 64G Sandisk Extreme micro cards.

I will also say that Jonathan at iRiver support has been very helpful, and acknowledged the issue and indicated engineering is working on a solution.

Just got off the plane after the scan, 4.5 hours straight without a freeze.

The AK120 and the 2 64gb cards not showing up; I remember now that I did not eject the three 'discs', I just disconnected the AK from the USB cord.  To fix IIRC correctly, I connected the AK with the cards in it, then I opened the Disk Utility program, clicked on Macintosh HD, then the restore tab. I clicked on Image, the drop down menu showed the 3 drives, I highlighted each one without performing any task. I think that doing that way restored the way in which the MAC recognizes the drives. The header?  I hope to never disconnect the AK improperly again, so I cannot verify that is what I did. I have not had not issue since.

Yes, I am a happy 1p2 user. I am using Silver/Gold cable but had chance to try Silver and Uber cable, still prefer the Silver/Gold to others. Yes, the soundstage is huge compare to other IEMs or even some headphones.

I have fit issue with the stock tips but have perfect fit with the Monster Supertips.

Besides, 1p2 has isolation issue which caused by the bass port not by fitness. It is perfect to listen at night, in door or when you are walking. You will need to raise the volume a little bit when you are on subway or at noisy places.

" isolation issue " !  and what about sound " leaking " outside of the IEM ?  Can you disturb people sleaping near you with sound " leaking " outside ?
