For those who want to demo DSD and HD flac of the same files here is a free demo site link, enjoy

I hear distortion on my DSD file, just downloaded the "Ola Gjeilo: Ubi Caritas - piano improvisation Ola Gjeilo" and the 24/192 worked fine but the DSD64 distorts at 1:50 mark.

Breaking away from DSD for a moment, is anyone able to see album art on AIFF files? I can't on 1.11, 1.21 or 1.30.
Thanks.

When listening to DSD equalizer does not work.
The values are changed, and the sound does not change.
Checked.
ak120 converts DSD in PCM 88.2

Oppo is good and i have one but it cannot beat dedicated high-end CDP, i ran Oppo direct and it sounded so so while using Oppo as transport makes little sense since this is DVD drive. Also a good two channel can sound insanely good even with red book plus you have golden master series CDs though they are not cheap and not every music. hdcd can also be very good.

Lee, i tried two channel and loss was apparent, SACD is normally surrond or two channel but i found less appeal on two channel.

I don't know what to say then Gintiras. Most of the SACDs I have are superior to their vinyl counterparts which I also have. The same goes for red book. I'm not the only one who feels this.

Cheers

I have putted the file from 2L and ak120 did not want to play it why guys?

Which file/format did you upload onto the AK120. Dsd64 should work (and Dsd128 will not).

That site got a number of DSD format. U must not used the DSD128 as AK120 only support DSD64.

I tried with the first Mozart DSD64 file and there isn't any problem playing.

I am pretty sure that the AK120 cannot process 5.1 surround?!

Stick with 2 channel................................
