It would be nice if it can also power high end headphones (like the HD800 or AKG K812) since I might buy these in the near future.

If you want all in one go with the RSA Intruder DAC/Amp.

Sell, I wish. My wife stole my SE535-Js along with a custom OCC silver cable. She lets me listen to them on occasion but they are now her IEMs.

That's a small price to pay for actual 'allowance' in continuing on with this hobby ;-)

My wife likes the pretty red color of my V8 Universals - that is too much of a price to pay.... I was hoping she would like the "pretty white" of her Meelec CC51's for a while longer! :D

Yep, it was the pretty red color of my 535-J plus my cables are not sheathed so my wife loves the silver.

Has anyone had a chance to compare this to the Nuforce Primo 8?

If this has been discussed in the past, please forgive me.  How do you like the sound signature of your silver cable (aftermarket cable(s) compared to the stock Shure SE846 cable?  Thanks in advance.

I will point you to the review by my friend MCoupe wrote who also owns the SE846 and Headphone Lounge's silver cables. I could not write it any better

Thank you very much for the link!  I had to find out it was post #161, because the link re-directed me to the last post in the thread, but no worries.  Now to bug him a little bit regarding his snazzy 'newer' silver cable!

What a noob. Only just realised 64" cable factory fitted. Now changed to 46" cable. Still long enough to hook from the iPad bag with the rig.

Bodes well for when forza cable arrives as that is 125cm

Nice detailed review on the custom sleeves!

They look quite bulky; I guess I'll get just get a CIEM when I want a custom fit...

Just personal aesthetic opinion tho.

If I may ask, how is Linum BaX compared to stock cables?

Thanks, RexxarCHL!  In the Sensaphonics Custom Sleeves Review is a link to my Estron Linum MMCX BaX Review, so you can read all of my impressions (with comparisons) there.

As for bulkiness, yes, they may look bulky, but almost the entire custom sleeve is inside your ear, so the amount it sticks out relative to regular sizes-fit-all tips (if you have a deep seal) is about 1 mm or less "thicker".  Since the earphones are now in the optimal position, it does not look out of place or stick out very much at all.
