Anyway just like to check with all you guys who actually own the se846 currently. I recently tried it with the triple flange tip and it seems to sound nicer. Seems to have a slightly wider sound stage and slightly brighter. Not sure if its just my head screwing with me. So would really like to gather more opinions. Sadly i find the triple flange really uncomfortable to use.

I checked and Fullcompass has ONE SE846. The best place in the US to order I believe is still Earphonesolutions. I have emailed them for updates and their customer service has been peerless.

I heard form earphone solutions that they're still trying to fulfill May preorders so if I ordered now I couldn't see myself getting one for ages :D May give B&H a go.

Do you have any idea how long the wait at B&H is going to be? I just heard from Earphonesolutions that I will receive mine on Monday. They are getting a small shipment in on Friday.

It just says expected availability August 26th. Guessing that's when they'll receive them then they will fulfill the orders as they've been placed. If I were you I would wait until Monday if that's when you're getting them, when did you pre-order?

No question I am waiting for mine on Monday. I preordered back in May, I think the first week it was available. Again, the responsiveness of Earphonesolutions has been great.

I would ask B&H how many they expect to receive as I have heard directly from Shure that Earphonesolutions placed their order first in the US and will probably receive the bulk of the first SE846s.

The issue is how fast Shure's factory in China can manufacture them. It cannot be easy as no one has tried to manufacture a low pass system on an IEM before.

Did you have to ask ea*sol*.com when your SE846 would ship? Or they sent you a notice that they're shipping. I was expecting mine in the next shipment, too. But I know they said it depends on how many they get in. I also preordered in May. Haven't received anything about getting them Monday, though.

Yes, I went onto their website as asked. My suggestion is to do the same if you want to know. I checked again and I preordered the third day you could back in May.

Went ahead and ordered through fullcompass since it does say 1-2 day shipping to take my chances. If it doesn't ship out within then I will just cancel it. Lol.

Well I emailed them because it says at one point on their website it ships within 3-4 weeks then on the product page it says within 1-2 days, they said I ordered from their inventory so mine will ship out within 1-2 days, here's to hoping!

Tips can change the sound quite significantly in my opinion, and the triple flange btw is very long however, the instructions says to cut the nozzle of the tips to your liking (cut short so it can fit better).

Well, looks like I got extremely lucky. Placed my order with fullcompass yesterday for the SE846, chose overnight shipping. It's already on the truck for delivery today :) Beyond excited. Should have it within a few hours.

Congratulations as I suspected Fullcompass had only one as their website now says call for availability. I will get mine Monday from Earphonesolutions and like you I am very excited.
