At the same time you have to consider the price for a triple driver in silicone versus the competition.  Even if you eventually have to pay for the CIEM to be re-cabled it's currently a good deal. *

* This assumes that the CIEMS sound great which I won't know until I hear them.

The connection between the cable and the 3.5mm plug is usually the first thing to give.

I concur.

So, Peter just sent me a picture of my pair of completed Pro100; it's currently waiting for engraving...

They look good.  Though I ordered  a different model I'm eager to read your impressions.

One stray thought: With my CT-500 I received a rubber lined Pelican box.  I'm a touch disappointed Custom Art isn't supplying the same.

A review will be coming, like I do with basically everything I have or have had. normal_smile%20.gif

I'm partial to Pelican cases too; I like them better than Otterboxes, and they're a company local to my hometown, but there's nothing wrong with Otter. Also, I don't think that's the final set of included stuff --- he just sent me a picture because I was really curious what they looked like.

I'm sorry but it was stated in the opening post. Otter box is the final choice for boxes (at least for now). You'll also receive more convenient carrying box for daily use. Remember that the shell is soft silicone, so why would you need rubber-lined case?

That's a good point; at the moment I only own a set of acrylic CIEMs so I hadn't taken into account the shock absorbing properties of silicone.

I'm happy to hear about the smaller travel box, that's a useful bonus.

Tha box is ideal IMHO.

Rock solid, you can throw your monitors inside the bag and forget it.

Looks like mine are done!

However, I'm gonna be really busy for the next few weeks... frown.gif

I'll try to post impressions when I can.

Are you going to let little things like work or a relationship get in the way of the pursuit of audio nirvana?  blink.gif

I wonder how the Pro330 sounds compared to Spiral Ear SE3pro.. Price is really really good for a silicon custom.
