yes, sillicone is harder to reshell. but, for example, Peter reshells his CIEMs so this is doable and he does not charge half of the price of the product! indeed there is a lot of wires in 5way, but AFAIK you just have there 4 drivers with capacitors (typical rc filter) and 1 full range driver.
Just a friendly advise, try to build the FAQ part of your website soon. I believe it will be the place where you are going to put audiologist instructions.
In the meantime, I think you prefer ear impressions that passes 2nd bend, full concha, mouth open with bite block around 1-2 cm. Impressions should be soft silicone material, brands like Drever, Egger and Westone are fine I guess.
I am going to try to get an appointment so I needed to double check before I move on.
I am too poor for the moment for Harmony 8. Well I could actually get them but then I will need to stick my Clip+ RB for a longer time which becomes painful at the end. I am probably going to get Music One for gym use and something else.
Harmony 8, as wonderful as it seems, shall have to wait more. I definitely need a dap for the moment. Checking things around 500 euros mark. You name it, ZX1, DX90, X5, Pono etc etc. I haven't decided yet. Maybe I should wait for X7 or DX100's successor?
DX90 seems to be the perfect choice honestly but that capacity issue is problem. I would order it first day if they had 2 micro sd slots rather than 1. Calyx M could be good if they offered pre order discount but apparently Calyx's attitude against international customer is rather weird. Maybe I can just keep the money in its place and wait for next gen. daps.
Harmony pre-order will start on April 23rd - this is when we are going to start taking payments. If you wish to send your impressions earlier - feel free to do so.
-Detachable version - 3200PLN/€800
-Non-detachable version - 3000PLN/€750
-Detachable version - 4000PLN/€1000
-Non-detachable version - 3700PLN/€925
Turnaround will be typical for normal orders at given moment.
Pre-order will end on 1st June.

Well, just think of it this way.
If you spend that on a new car, it's not going to be all that great. However, if you spend that on a Harmony 8(0) then I think it's fair to say you're going to have a pretty fantastic time..
So, new cheapish car or the best (possibly) CIEMs in the world..?
Actually with that kind of money, Piotr could create a sort of 'headphone' IEM.. with so much silicon, that it is a mould of your entire ear.. Just clips over and into it with a propriety 80 driver 7.2 surround system in IEM form..

If anybody wants to grab a pro330v2, i'm selling mine to fund the Harmony:
Perhaps, however you'd have to be the pioneer of my idea.. Given the complexities of monitor placement, I think you have a step up on us there.
However I would certainly be interested to see the reduction in external noise, who knows you might be able to eliminate standard background noise in the average city and actually get some decent dynamics going..
(Re: the above, I am open to licensing my 'billion dollar' ideas for a small subsidy to the right person / firm)
Why stop at the ears?
Doesn't he look ecstatic?
