I meant that pro330v2's bass impact is not so strong and I would say that in rock/metal music you need that impac. Thus, pro330v2 may not be good for this type of genre.
I did not listen to Music Two so I can't say anything about bass in Music Two and pro330v2.

Hi! and thanks. I'm trying to rush things around to make up for the break so I'm completely swamped so I apologize if my replies are not as instant. There were few very nice IEMs made right before I left so I may post some pictures over the weekend.

Hi Peter,

Welcome back. I received my H8P last week and have being listening to then ever since. May I ask how should H8P should sounds? I find that the mid is kind like recess and some distortion can be heard. The vocal sounds thin to me. Should it sounds this way?

Thanks for your input.

So does that distortion means my set is faulty?

if you hear real distortion in every of your well mixed songs( that don't produce the same distortion with other earphones). Yes, obviously it will be faulty,

In which of the range are you hearing distortion?  Low, mids, highs?  If you can specify frequency, it would help.  Also, what is your digital audio player you plugged into?  What music distorts?

I hear no distortion and I would not call the Mid recessed nor would I call the mids forwards and I will say the mids are clear and detailed.

On the high pitch side...I'm using ipod classic Gen 7 with E12....no sign of distortion when listening through tg334 with the same setup and songs

Hi, no you shouldn't hear any distortion, please send me an email and I will work it out with you.

BTW. each unit is measured prior closing the shell and before shipment so it's really strange what you are reporting.

Can you actually close a silicone shell? I mean, they don't have a faceplate or an hollow space inside for 'closing' right?

Why not? You just weld the area cut.
