I guess it would be possible. I just never done it so it's a blind shot for now.

hi peter just a question regarding harmony and harmony pro.

on your website, it states that harmony is best for "jazz, pop, rap, hip-hop, fem vocals, rock, electronic, ambient" while harmony pro is best suited for "Rock, Pop, Metal, Hardcore, electronic". so if i'm looking for a ciem to provide the lush rich vocal sounding does it mean i should opt for the non-pro version as it is more suitable for my preference?

My own opinion, I think non pro version would suit you best if you want lush rich mids.

That's totally my guess from the product descriptions, so yeah maybe it is better if you rely on Peter's opinion. I am sure he will be very helpful to you as he always been helpful to all of us.

Hi, yes for your requirements Harmony 8 non-pro would be the choice

If you listening music similar to that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EfsFSHzZFg Pro will be better.

Would those who have heard the Harmony 8 (both versions) say they are not suitable for those who like a u-shaped sound signature (neutral with emphasis on bass and treble)?

Version Pro have almost u-shaped sound signature, between u-shaped and v-shaped. For me version Pro too little has a treble, but I have Pro330v2 and this is my point of reference. Details on Harmony 8 Pro on treble and highs will better than Pro330v2. Version non-pro don't have highs for me, I like when there is a lot of high, they are aggressive, like as first version 232, first Audeo.

Thanks.  They sound interesting.  How do they sound unamped?

I wrote opinion about Harmony 8 Pro and Non-pro with my point of reference. I like A-shape sound signature with extended treble and transparent bass, with good texture, because I a lot of listening anime ost, j-music, k-music, classic, female vocal, jazz, trip-hop, sometimes I listening rock, nu-rock. For people who listening a lot of j-music and k-music Harmony 8 Pro will be better than non-pro and highs female vocal version Pro will be better. Harmony 8 non-pro will be better for music when highs aren't the first or the second plane. This is my opinion, a person who need extended treble and mids.

I listening both version Harmony on dap Monolith MX7000, he have 28mW for canal. This is good power to drive Harmony, but I no listening other dap and smartphone.

I've got a question for some of you guys and i hope this the the right place to ask this... i recently ordered some pro330v2's from piotr and as i started to read more here, i had a question about amps that i asked piotr.  He recommended i ask the question here.

Up to this point, i've been using shure se210's with the oilves on them.  My main reason for using IEM's is that i sometimes work in very loud workshop environments (knifemaking, sharpening, blacksmithing, etc.) and so i use the IEM's for isolation and to be able to enjoy good music.  In general, because i need to be mobile and cant carry much, i drive my phones directly through my iphone 5.  After reading this entire thread, as well as many others, i came to think that i may need some kind of amp to make this work.  So here's the question (i guess its actually a few questions, leading to a main question)...

-Do any of you who own pro330v2's use them with only your iphone 5's?  If so, how does that work for you?

-For those of you who use amps, which amps do you recommend?  Please keep in mind that i cant carry much in my pockets, so size and portability is a factor.

-Do you find that its necessary to use an amp with these considering they will be plugged into an iphone 5, or is it just something that might be nice if i can swing it?

Thanks in advance.

Also, as a separate note, Piotr has been just spectacular on the customer service front.  He speed of communication and general philosophy/attitude/honesty is commendable.  Kind of inspirational to be honest, since i also operate an online business (as well as a retail store), and deal with customer e-mails and phone calls every day.  All-in-all, this has been one of the best experiences i have had purchasing something online in as long as i can remember.

if you are not too much in a hurry, try to order a Headtstage arrow g5 (coming soon), or other headstage amp second hand.

Was very happy with it and my pro330: powerful, a lot of features you can adjust etc. It's not the "neutralest" amp, but still, a great item and really pocket sized!
