It's kind of hard to describe the mids on these. They're not what I would call mid centric, but the mids never seem overpowered by the bass or treble. I guess, to my ears, it's because there is no bleeding over of any of the ranges into each other. Sorry, that's the best I can do but to add that I've always been one who desired strong mids. Parterre's don't push them to the forefront, but they just never seem lost either. I'm very happy with the signature. I used to dream about finding the perfect headphone, but I'm starting to realize that what I really wanted was to have every recording perfectly mastered to my ears. The Parterre seems to do very well with all qualities of recordings.
