I'm new here and before you say I'm a complete nut job for wasting my time on the lowly Maxell NC-II, well I'm a modder so you're only partially right. I've been lurking here a while gathering info & ideas so many of you here are responsible for filling my head with ideas and getting me started on this project  biggrin.gif

First off, the headphones were free. The stuff I'm using for the modifications, spare stuff I already have on hand. The only thing that cost me was the 1/8" stereo plug.

The job entails damping the shells (?) of the drivers, adding a bit of poly-fill and a rewire which is mainly to get rid of the un-needed noise cancellation function and what the heck, better wire can't hurt.

If you still don't get it, the main reason for this project: PRACTICE  wink_face.gif  I'll be posting some pics along the way and who knows, this may give somebody else with a cheap pair of cans some ideas.

I know where all the parts go, honest!
